All-Day Whale Watching Excursions to Pt. Adolphus, an area considered one of the top whale watching locations in Alaska. Our captains hug the shoreline going out and coming in, to optimize the possibility of spotting our coastal brownies and other wild game feeding along the shores. It is like having your own private yacht - no fighting for views or feeling like you are just one in a herd, because our groups are small and we treat you like family. We will have you up close and personal with the whales - you will not only SEE them, but HEAR and SMELL them as well! Lunch is provided.

Kayak Independent Tour-Hoonah.
We also offer Bear Viewing by Van. These popular All-Day trips provide guests with bear sightings, experiencing the Alaskan wild, picking a variety of wild berries, possibly viewing other wild life, such as Sitka blacktail deer, beaver and eagles. We don’t just go to one location and hope the bear are there, but explore all over the island actively searching them out! Picnic lunch is provided. Minimum of 4 people and a maximum of 10.
Fishing Trips - Salt and fresh water trips available, with the species dependant upon time of year. These trips last all day and include lunch. Minimum of 4 people and a maximum of 6.
Scenic Port Fredrick Tours – This relaxed day-long tour starts from our front door and visits several interesting sites, including the native burial site of Pitt Island, Neka Bay, Humpy Creek, 8 Fathom Bite and Salt Lake Bay. On this scenic/eco tour you always have the chance of seeing whales, sea otters, sea lions, porpoises, eagles, an array of birds, bear and deer along the shoreline. A picnic lunch is included.

Kayak Independent Tours:
If you are looking for a kayak trip adventure, we will host you at our lodge your first night, then deliver you and your gear by boat to a selected departure point, picking you up at a predetermined place and time. Your final night is back at the lodge, before departing Hoonah either on the ferry or by plane. We have kayak and gear rentals.
All our water tours are conducted on our 32-foot Bayliner Motor Yacht the Dawn Breaker, a very comfortable boat with 360-degree viewing, covered stern and a stand-up head. On beautiful sunny days you will also have access to the fly bridge on the boat.

BOOK IN ADVANCE FOR PRIME TIME DATES! Book before March 15th and receive $100 per person off the price of your trip and secure the dates that you want. 50% due upon booking and final payment due upon completion of trip, before departing Hoonah.
